A Victorian family gathering of Amelia Leier with daughters Mettie and Birdie, plus several other unknown family members, including the mysterious immigrant girl.
Note the curious squirrel shape in the upper right side of the photo. Or, as someone pointed out to me, it could be a stylized outline of the United States,
with Florida as the "squirrel's" tail and the Great Lakes area his head.

The date of the photo? Maybe 1900-1905? In 1905, Mettie would be 16, Birdie 15, and Amelia 40.
