Miranda Hettrich Leier's Obituary

January 11, 2018 - When Miranda died on October 29, 1976, a year after her husband Albert Leier died, her death certificate listed her brother, William Hettrich, as the informant. Since Albert and Miranda did not have any children, I had hoped that William would have published an obituary. I contacted Alla Roylance, senior librarian at the Brooklyn Library, and asked her to search the newspaper archives for an obit. She did a search of the following newspapers, but couldn't find anything. New York Daily News, Ridgewood Times, Home Reporter and Canarsie Courier.
