The note on the original photo from Cousin Maureen's collection says "Grandma, Dorothy and Toots Lanzaro". Grandma is Mettie (Leier) Kazalski. Dorothy is her daughter. 'Toots' Lanzaro is the daughter of Louisa (Leier) Lanzaro, whose real first name was Carmela. Dorothy and Toots were the granddaughters of Lawrence and Amelia Leier. I am guessing that Dorothy is 6 years old and Toots about 12, which would date this photo to around 1922.
